02The data we collect
- When you request a demo through the form on the For salons page: your salon name, your name, your email address, your postcode, your preferred language and your message.
- When you register for Look & Learn: your salon name, your name, your email address, your postcode and the number of people.
- When you email or call us: the details you choose to share with us.
- When you visit the site: technical data such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you view. We only collect statistics about your visit with your consent.
We never ask for sensitive data and we never sell your data.

04How long we keep your data
- Demo requests and registrations: for as long as we need them to follow up on your request, and no longer than two years after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep your data for as long as we work together.
- Invoices and accounting: for as long as Belgian law requires.

05Who receives your data
We only share your data with the partners that keep the site running, and only what they need to do so:
- Squarespace (Squarespace Ireland Ltd.): hosting of the website, the forms and the statistics.
- Netlify: delivers the site’s design and scripts and logs technical data such as your IP address in the process.
- Google: reCAPTCHA protects the form against spam and Google Fonts delivers the typefaces. In doing so, your IP address reaches Google.
- unpkg: delivers the open-source scripts for the animations and logs technical data such as your IP address in the process.
- NEVERONMONDAY, our web agency in Antwerp: manages the website and receives the form notifications in order to forward them to us.
Some of these partners are based in the United States or use servers outside the European Union. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
06Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. On your first visit, you decide whether to allow statistics cookies. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

The site also keeps two small notes in your browser, without sending anything to us: k24-ll-2026 remembers whether you have already closed the Look & Learn invitation or registered, and 24k-intro makes sure the intro only plays once per visit.

07Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data;
- have it corrected or completed;
- have it erased;
- have its processing restricted;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a common format, so you can transfer it;
- withdraw your consent. This does not affect anything done with your consent before then.
Simply email hello@hairplane.be. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.

08Security
The site runs entirely over a secure connection (https). Only the people who need your data to help you have access to it.
09Changes
We update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
